Privacy

The short version: no cookies, no tracking, no analytics, and no visitor IP addresses stored.

Who is responsible

Florian Liebe, Saxony, Germany. Contact: me [at] flo.wtf

Visiting this site

When you open a page, your browser sends your IP address and a few technical details, such as the browser and the page requested, to the server. That is needed to deliver the page at all (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server writes none of this to an access log, so once the page is delivered, nothing is kept. Only real server errors are logged; such an entry can contain an IP address and is overwritten automatically after a short time.

Hosting

The site runs on a server I rent from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.

Cookies and local storage

There are no cookies. If you pick a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage, only on your device, and never sent anywhere. Clearing the site data in your browser removes it.

No third-party content

Fonts, scripts and images all come from this server; nothing is loaded from anyone else. The links to GitHub, LinkedIn and Zammad only take you there when you click them, and from then on their privacy policies apply.

Writing to me

If you send me an email, I use your message and address only to answer it. It stays in my mailbox and is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Saxony that is the Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte. Since this site keeps no data about its visitors, there is usually nothing to report, but feel free to ask.
